If someone were to ask me: what is your idea of a stunningly gorgeous home, I think the first answer to come to my mind, would be: Alidad's flat in London!! It's pure perfection, in every possible way, from every point of view. The rich, deep, even jewel-like colours...the harmonious blending of hues...the aristocratic sophistication...the flawless arrangement of decor objects...the superlative art...the suave maximalism without being muddled...this is an IDEAL, model apartment for the entire world. Breathtakingly beautiful! Cheers, from India! 👍😊

It is gorgeous . Not practical and high maintenance upkeep, particularly with cleaning; but , I don't care . When it's your own home as gorgeous as this , one doesn't mind cleaning it . I love it . Love all the character and heritage details and eclectic beauty without clutter which it isn't, it is just a beautiful character quirky edged period home. Those book cases and all the shelving and spindles in the staircase and height and secret doors , wall papering , the landing style wrapped around and nooks and crannies going on. Gosh I love it . I love all that . It is romantic . Those details and the charms , outweighs the drawbacks of hard to keep clean . It looks like it is loved . Thankyou for showing .

I'm a new fan of Bunny and John. Looking for everything I can find to see their work. My introduction to Bunny was when I saw some ditzy she was selling at Ballard Design in a catalogue, dinnerware, I believe. In particular a metal wicker vase and salt cellars. Wonderful and fun. Her casually elegant life style reminds me of a dearly departed friend, Charles Faudree, who was my introduction to design. I clerked for him on weekends and summers at his shop when I wasn't teaching.
